In Islington, like all other local Liberal Democrat parties, we have joined action to support our local communities.

We will work with everyone and anyone to protect the most endangered people in our communities; to support those who are isolated to let them know they are not alone and that support is on hand, and to beat this virus and come out of this experience as a stronger community than before.

This page will be updated regularly with new information as and when we get it. Take a look at how you can help your neighbours:

How can I give my help?

There are local ward Mutual Aid WhatsApp groups available to join where you can offer or ask for help. Be mindful that foodbanks in Islington are now closed. These community groups can be vital for people relying on foodbanks.

Download and sign-up to the COVID Symptom Tracker App designed by King’s College London, Guys & St Thomas' Hospitals and the NHS to self-report on your health and help scientists identify high-risk areas in the UK, better understand symptoms linked to underlying health conditions and monitor how fast the virus is spreading in the UK.

How can I obtain help?

Your local Mutual Aid group will be happy to assist you.
